Global Capacity and Vero Systems Enter Agreement to Provide Customers Comprehensive Network Optimization Solutions
Companies
Team Up to Offer Cost-Management Solutions for Both Fixed
Network and Variable Switched Access
Chicago and Atlanta (August 20, 2007) - Global
Capacity, Inc. (parent: Capital Growth Systems, Inc. - OTC: CGSY.OB),
the telecommunications industry's first logistics company, and Vero
Systems, Inc., an industry leader in voice switched access cost
management, jointly announced today they have entered a teaming
agreement to market complementary network optimization solutions to
carriers and systems integrators worldwide. Company executives are
launching the cross-selling initiative in response to customer requests
for cost-reduction/efficiency-enhancing optimization solutions that
address both of their biggest network cost drivers.
Global Capacity leverages a fully integrated supply chain management
system, including a comprehensive telecommunications knowledgebase
continually updated with global telecom supply and pricing data mined
from thousands of public and private sources. This global information
engine provides the market intelligence needed to provide network
optimization solutions, physical and financial, that substantially
lower costs and improve network efficiency. Vero Systems offers a
unique set of software solutions and professional services that provide
unmatched financial visibility and the tools necessary to directly
manage voice traffic and variable costs. Independently, the two
companies currently provide services to some of the world's largest
network operators and systems integrators.
"This is a great opportunity for both companies to cross-sell existing
customers with synergistic services," said Mark Dickey, senior vice
president of strategic networks for Global Capacity. "Global Capacity
eliminates costs and complexities at the access layer, while Vero does
the same thing at the switch level. Based on previous experience, our
solutions can help customers realize a potential savings in excess of
20 percent on total network access costs."
Customers will have the dual benefit of optimally routed traffic
delivered over an optimally designed network, according to David King,
president of Vero Systems. "Aligning with proven professionals
with multi-disciplinary technical expertise is critical when it comes
to facility grooming, network management and voice traffic route
optimization services. These are core business functions for clients
and it takes the right people from the right companies to earn the
confidence of network operators. By teaming up, we can facilitate
high-level conversations with key client contacts that lead to new
business and shortened sales cycles. For our customers, the partnership
offers a clear path to significant operating cost reductions of both
physical networks and the voice traffic that rides over them."
