Brian Cafferty
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cafferty oversees corporate
management and strategic direction of the Company. He is the
founder of Vero Systems and has been actively involved in the design,
development, and subsequent rollout of telecommunication software
products since 1984. Prior to Vero Systems, Mr. Cafferty served
as Vice President of the Global Solutions team for ADC
Telecommunications. He has held strategic leadership roles with
CommTech Corporation (Executive Vice President of Sales &
Marketing) and Bell Atlantic (General Manager). He was a
co-founder of Strategic Systems and Services Inc., where he was
responsible for the overall strategic direction, product design and
sales and helped guide it to a successful acquisition by CommTech
Corporation. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of BC
Consultants Inc., a software firm that specialized in telecommunication
management systems for the large enterprise market.
Clay Herron
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief
Financial Officer, Mr. Herron has responsibility for financial
planning, management and reporting. In addition, Mr. Herron also
has responsibility for managing the financial aspects of Vero’s
customer solutions and heading the Vero Finance team which creates and
drives analysis that is focused on creating and measuring operating
cost savings and high-quality reporting for Vero’s
customers. Mr. Herron is a Chartered Financial Analyst and brings
over 20 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance,
strategic planning, acquisitions, start-ups, due diligence, and
turnaround situations. Mr. Herron has held a number of financial
and operational leadership positions in the telecommunications industry
and has spent his career building and leading organizations in a wide
variety of operating environments, both in the US and overseas.
Prior to joining Vero, Mr. Herron held executive positions with
Broadwing Communications, served as CFO at Telecom Wireless Solutions
International and served as CFO of BellSouth Ecuador. Mr. Herron
earned a bachelors degree in Economics and a MBA from Vanderbilt
University.
Tom Fitzpatrick
Senior Vice President, Rapid Development & Prototyping
Mr. Fitzpatrick is responsible for leading Vero's rapid development
and prototyping team. He has spent his career of more than 20 years
providing technical leadership for a large and diverse software
development teams. He brings in-depth knowledge of both hardware and
software product life cycles as well as the complexities of
telecommunications industry. His earlier experiences include senior
software development roles at ADC Telecommunications, CommTech
Corporation, Bell Atlantic, STL InfoKare, Strategic Systems and
Services, Inc. and BC Consultants.
John Fitzpatrick
Senior Vice President, Software Solutions
As Senior Vice President, Software Solutions, Mr. Fitzpatrick
has responsibility for implementation of software on customer
facilities, customer support, and serves as the liaison between
software development and implementation. As an expert in software
functionality on customer networks, he also plays a vital role
supporting sales to new customers. Mr. Fitzpatrick has more
than 20 years of leadership experience in software and
telecommunications and has held various technical sales, software
development, and project management positions. Prior to joining
Vero, Mr. Fitzpatrick held executive positions with ADC
Telecommunications and CommTech Corporation, where he was involved in
directing the technical sales efforts for complex telecommunications
software applications and OSSs, including CDR mediation, traffic
analysis, routing optimization, and voice and cable activation.
He was a co-founding partner of Strategic Systems and Services Inc. and
prior to that, Mr. Fitzpatrick was the Technical Sales Director at Bell
Atlantic Software Systems, where he was responsible for leading the
department in providing pre-sales support for the Bell Atlantic sales
force in marketing Telecommunications Facilities Management
applications.
Frank de Bloois
Senior Vice President, International Operations
As Senior Vice President of International Operations, Mr. de Bloois
has overall responsibility for Vero Systems’ international
expansion. Mr. de Bloois has over 20 years of international
experience and has successfully led teams in Asia, Europe, and in Latin
and North America. He has had significant experience in
management consulting, general management, carrier & enterprise
sales, product development and management, operations and engineering,
strategic planning and finance. Prior to joining Vero, Mr. de
Bloois was Vice President of Access Management at Level 3 where he was
responsible for wholesale VoIP product and managing off-net dedicated
and switched access costs. Prior to Level 3, Mr. de Bloois was
Vice President of International Wholesale Voice Services at Global
Crossing where he led Carrier Relations, International Voice Sales and
Least Cost Routing teams. Mr. de Bloois spent three years with
Sprint International / Global One in Sydney Australia, where he was a
member of the executive team as General Manager responsible for the
carrier and retail profitability. Mr. de Bloois grew up in the
Netherlands and is fluent in English, Dutch and proficient in
German. He earned a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from
the Institute of Technology in the Netherlands and an MBA from the
University of Kansas.
Tom Sinatra
Senior Vice President, Product Development
As Senior Vice President of Product Development, Tom Sinatra serves
Vero Systems with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications
industry. He is responsible for overseeing the product development,
technology direction, application design, and providing technical and
business support to Vero's customers. Mr. Sinatra began his career at
AT&T Bell Laboratory as part of the development team, designing and
building gateway applications. He has an extensive background in
large-scale gateway systems interfacing into customer OSS systems. He
brings broad technical experience to the Vero team with his background
in product management, engineering and professional services. Mr.
Sinatra's previous employments include executive roles with ADC
Telecommunications, CommTech Corporation, Beechwood Data Systems, Cap
Gemini Telecommunications, and management roles with IEX Corporation
and AT&T.
Jose Marques
Vice President, Professional Services
As
Vice President of Professional Services, Mr. Marques is responsible for
the management of Vero Systems’ Professional Services
organization, leading the design of cost-effective, customized, network
configurations, and creating and supporting value-added, consultative
services that maximize service providers’ profitability and cost
containment efforts. Mr. Marques has over 25 years experience in
the telecom industry and his career encompasses a wide range of
wireline / wireless, local, long distance and international
experience. Prior to joining Vero, Mr. Marques was the Managing
Partner of STI, a telecom consultancy heavily involved in making
carrier and enterprise telecom environments run more efficiently.
Prior to STI, Mr. Marques was Vice President of Business Development at
eGlobe, where he managed international wholesale operations with over
$150 million in revenue. Mr. Marques also spent four years as Director
of Strategic Initiates at BellSouth International where he led
functional teams in the acquisition and deployment of wireless and
wireless service providers in markets around the world. He has
also held various sales, product development, and engineering roles at
WorldPort, Evolution Networks, Sprint, and Western Union. Mr. Marques
is a native of Portugal and is fluent in English, Portuguese and
Spanish. He earned a bachelors in Computer Science from the New
Jersey Institute of Technology.
Jeff Ellery Vice President – Sales
Mr.
Ellery has over 22 years of experience in sales, consulting and
strategy development in the communications industry. As Vice
President – Sales he manages the North American market for Vero
Systems. In this position he is responsible for territory
development, strategy and sales into new and existing customers.
Prior to coming to Vero Systems he has work for DST Innovis, Sigma,
CommTech Corporation, Cap Gemini, Beechwood Data Systems, Carnegie
Group and US WEST. Mr. Ellery has an Associate in Applied Sciences
degree in Data Processing from Utah Technical College a Bachelor of
Science degree in Economics from the University of Utah and a MBA from
the University of Colorado.
