AcuWorld is an end-to-end integrated solution that provides carriers with full international cost management and routing capabilities within a unified software module. This design reduces the overhead and simplifies the operation of the tool allowing for faster response times to the more dynamic nature of the International market place. Like the Vero’s other Acuité products, AcuWorld utilizes the information rich AcuCDR repository to garner near-real time cost, quality, and traffic data to enhance routing decisions and to provide visibility into costs and performance. AcuWorld goes beyond traditional Least Cost Routing by providing Optimal Cost Routing. The Optimal Cost Routing Model (OCRM) generated by AcuWorld considers cost, quality and margin filters to recommend routing sequences for each route class. The OCRM handles route changes for the entire network and is switch agnostic. The innovative functionality of AcuWorld enables the carrier to upload vendor rate and dial code amendments automatically and quickly direct to switches in their native language, which saves time and money and improves overall network and margin performance. A key differentiator for AcuWorld is an innovative new approach to managing Dial Codes. ‘Cherry-picking’ dial codes is a key driver of margin loss for carriers providing international service. Rather than trying to maintain a master list of codes like many carriers do, AcuWorld surveys the comprehensive set of Dial Codes provided across the entire portfolio of Interconnect Partner Rate Sheets and automatically breaks out and manages the Dial Codes at the most granular breakout level available. Thus, if any of the carrier’s interconnected partners offer a particular Dial Code breakout, the code is arbitraged at the lowest level to prevent the AcuWorld user from being ‘cherry-picked’. AcuWorld provides sophisticated Dial Code Management, superior routing algorithms and the scalability of billions of Call Detail Records – far beyond the capabilities of existing Windows-based systems common in the International marketplace.
