AcuRateOptimal Cost Call Routing Generation and AnalysisAcuRate is the number crunching nucleus of the Acuité suite. It provides carriers with a powerful tool that gives them insight into complex variable costs (e.g., cost per minute by tiered rates) that were once believed too complex to manage. Creating a linkage between routing plans that reside in the network and the rich information available from AcuCDR data, the AcuRate module generates, manages and reports on network cost, quality and performance data. This data is then used for designing the Optimal Cost Routing Model that will be deployed into network switches. Detailed reporting can then be performed to eliminate the guesswork associated with identifying cost reduction opportunities across a network. By zeroing in on data at a call-by-call level of detail and summarizing it up to actionable levels, AcuRate enables carriers to identify hidden costs and provides the levers to pull to take immediate corrective actions. Given the complexity, volume and dynamic nature of interconnect pricing and cost data, AcuRate enables carriers to control the data, while others can simply manage it, thereby yielding a considerable cost savings and competitive advantage. In generating routing for the network, AcuRate goes beyond simplistic least cost call routing to optimal cost call routing. It generates optimal cost routing models, or OCRMs, by balancing complex financial variables, customized business rules, network topology and quality of service (QoS) objectives. More specifically, AcuRate automatically generates OCRMs by aggregating a broad scope of granular financial variables, including interconnect partner (ICP) rate decks, tariff rates, volume commitments, billing increments, discounts, jurisdictional pricing, and more. Every time a routing update is run, AcuRate intelligently prioritizes and orchestrates more than 1 million route choices for all possible North American destinations and generates the Optimal Cost Routing Model (OCRM). Thus, AcuRate enables carriers to fully align both network and business objectives - providing unparalleled visibility, insight, and control into network costs. |
